Welcome to LORDEC - the Learning Object Research, Development and Evaluation Collaboratory - housed at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Oshawa, Ontario Canada.

LORDEC conducts research on the effectiveness of learning objects in classrooms, develops models and processes for building learning objects and also evaluates the elements of instructional design which contibute to well-designed learning objects.
