Coding Programs


Advanced Coding and App Design (NEW for 2017)

  • Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18
  • Age group: ages 13 to 15
  • Gender: co-ed

Discover a variety of coding environments, game development and app design applications.  Work with more advanced programs such as Swift and Swift Playground.  Camp activities involve design, logic, math, computer skills, teamwork and creativity.  Experience in basic coding environments is necessary.  Each day includes cooperative outdoor activities.  This session is co-educational.


Too Cool for Camp (NEW for 2017)

  • Monday, August 21 to Friday, August 25
  • Age group: ages 14 to 17
  • Gender: co-ed

So, you are too old for "camp", but can't get a summer job?  Join others in tackling real world problems.  Learn advanced coding, game design, circuitry and more.  Explore topics that you select and work with a mentor as you create your solutions.  This session is co-educational.



Robotics Programs


Elite Robotics (NEW for 2017)

  • Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4
  • Age group: ages 12 to 15
  • Gender: co-ed

Learn about electronics and programming, and how to control LED lights, motors and sensors.  Additional robotic devices such as Makeblock mBot robot and Arduino, a small micro-controller, will be programmed to control the way electronic parts interact.  Discover more complicated programming skills, use new sensors and outputs, and make a new invention!  Each day includes cooperative outdoor activities.  This session is co-educational.



Minecraft Programs


Minecraft

  • Monday, July 31 to Friday August 4
  • Age group: ages 12 to 15
  • Gender: co-ed

Join us for the final challenge in Minecraft while campers unleash their imagination as they design and build their ultimate creations.  Campers will get to create mini games or giant interacting houses with Redstone circuits.  They will have an opportunity to design and build games that are engaging and entertaining, and play them with their friends.  Each includes cooperative outdoor activities.  This session is co-educational.
