John Stafford is recently retired from 30 years with the Durham Catholic District School Board. He is an Honour's Graduate of The University of Toronto and has been an English Teacher, A Curriculum Chair of English, A Secondary School Consultant and A Secondary School Vice Principal.
As well as being a Faculty Advisor for the Faculty of Education at UOIT, John devotes a great deal of time to volunteer work in the Town of Whitby and at his Church. One such example is his position as a member of the Durham, Haliburton, Kawartha and Pine Ridge Grant Review Team for the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
John has lived in Whitby for 28 years. He and his wife, Christine, are the proud parents of four adult children.
