Shirley McDonnell

Shirley McDonnell is a retired principal from the Durham District School Board. During her 34 year career in education, she has taught grades 1,2,3,and 5. Before becoming an administrator, she worked with special needs students in all divisions in the Academic Resource Teacher role and the SERT role.
Shirley has had the exciting experience of opening two new schools.

Since retiring, Shirley has worked for EQAO and is a supply administrator for the DDSB.

Shirley loves to travel. She has recently been to Australia and New Zealand, Cuba, Costa Rica and England/Scotland. She also loves live theatre and can be found frequently at Stratford and Niagara on the Lake.
