Ted is a retired school teacher and occasional supply teacher for Kindergarten through Grade 12. He has taught Core and Immersion French, Cooperative Education and Adult Continuing Education.
Ted has taught FSL 1, 2, and 3 credit courses as well as the French Honour Specialist Course through the Faculty of Education, Queen's University. For many years, Ted was an Associate Teacher with the Faculties of Education at the University of Toronto and Queen's University.
Ted has been a member of many teams within the Durham District School Board at various Faculties of Education, whose purpose was to interview and hire teachers.
Ted has a keen and proactive interest in social issues, social and restorative justice, social justice coalitions, child poverty, advocacy and outreach for the disadvantaged, the homeless and hungry. He is a volunteer and a supervisor at St. Vincent's Soup Kitchen in Oshawa.
Ted is actively involved in his church, a member of the Church Council, the Music Team, and in the community as a volunteer fundraiser for a number of charitable organizations.
Ted is enthusiastic and honoured to share his love for teaching with the students and faculty at UOIT.
