Ann Marie retired from the TDSB in June 2006. For most of her career she worked for the former Scarborough Board.
Ann Marie has taught in the primary division for much of her teaching career but also taught a junior special education class. She taught all grades as a library resource teacher as well as computers for grades K-8. During her career, Ann Marie was an Associate Teacher for many teacher candidates.
Her passion is literacy and she was a Literacy Co-ordinator for the Early Years Project. She was also a Board Trainer for the Ministry's Early Reading Strategy, First Steps tutor. Ann Marie presently teaches the Reading AQ course for OISE and has done so for the past 4 years.
Ann Marie considers herself to be a lifelong learner, and she belongs to a professional book club. She loves picture books and can always be found in the children's section of Chapters! In her free time she loves to read, do crossword puzzles, go curling and golfing.
